EFFPA is on the list of private sector organisations who will take part in the EU Platform on Food Losses & Food Waste. The aim of the platform is to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of food waste reduction. EFFPA will represent the animal feed solution, which has been recognised as a means to reduce food waste. It is also expected the draft Commission Guidelines for the use of Former Foodstuffs in Feed will be discussed.
