As per 1^st of February, EFFPA welcomes COPIRAL as a new Observer Member to its association. COPIRAL, is a family-run former foodstuff processor located in Agramunt, 120 km west of Barcelona, in the heart of the most agricultural province of Catalonia. The company was founded in 1995 and is now led by the family second generation. With 85 employees, the company processes 180,000 tons of former foodstuffs annually into animal feed. The new Observer member specializes in collecting and repurposing by-products to produce feed materials, primarily “bread flour” and “digest milk fluid.”
